Tips with semi alienated kids

We had a few helpful tips from a parenting professional and even a solicitor, at various times. When you have a child that is trying to resist being alienated but still being affected by it and learning things that aren't true from the EFH who tries to make them see one parent as all good and the other parent as all bad.

One big tip was- critical thinking. So the child works things out for themselves. Watching films you can discuss afterwards (eg how the baddy wasn't telling the truth and tricked the good guy). One film that was recommended was Mrs Doubtfire - not so much for alienation, but so kids understand the difficulties for Dads and the extremes they have to go to, to see their kids, and the complex situations.

Anyone have any film tips?
