I heard she died. I like the song too.
She had, as I read, a difficult life, having issues with drug addiction. She got better, but it did cut her life short, possibly.
Who knows what will happen to us. My best man and his ex wife died last year in a span of a few months. H had I think 8 or 7 people who died last year. All of them close to his age or even younger. He knew some well and at one point he was like, I am going to die anyway so why bother, along with quite a difficult year in many aspects.
It’s sad, but I know for my best man it was probably salvation. He suffered a lot towards the end. We did get to say goodbye about 2-3 weeks before he died at home. He told me it was too late for him and it was all that he wished for. He saw no reason to live, sadly. He left two grown children behind, but it was his alcoholism that drove them apart.
His ex wife just recovered from cancer and was cancer free, but on preventive medication which can cause blood clots and that’s exactly what happened. She had a stroke and died during sleep. She was only 56 I think. Still young enough with so many plans. And that one really hit us hard. We were both fond of her.
