Is this sad?

I feel good cleaning my home and having laundry taken care of. I need to iron a few of my things and that is still not done.
We have heavy flooding and by this I mean heavy, people loosing homes. We are fine, but our cottage is near a river with enforced risen banks, but the flow of the river is so fast and so much water that it has broken through in2 places, meaning 70 km of villages and fields could be flooded.
If we get through that phase safely, the second phase is underground water that will start to raise and that means flooding in the following days.
It’s a bit tense right now, but the sun just came out here and I am hopeful we will be fine and only our basement in our cottage will be flooded. I think that part is inevitable. We are advised not to travel, so that is that.
Ironing will have to be put off for now.
